How To Draw Like Genndy Tartakovsky
New art-style I worked on to draw characters in a more than eccentric cartoonish mode. It'south really a mix between two famous artists
that I love: Bruce Timm and Genndy Tartakovsky. It'll probably remind you Drawing Network way or Batman: Animated Serial besides.
It's pretty normal because Bruce Timm and Genndy Tartakovsky both worked for Cartoon Network/Warner Animation and their style
was very simplistic, minimalist and angular. Genndy worked on Dexter's Laboratory, Clone Wars and Samurai Jack. Timm worked on
Batman The Animated Series.
This is actually the first exam I did, it'due south featuring my green gator OC Paul. It was very very fun to describe this giddy vanquish in an other style!
Good reminder for worried people:
Every bit I said, it's a minimalist and much more than cartoonish-oriented style that I am testing in improver to my current style which is more realistic.
That will never replace my current manner that I use on commissions. So, please don't worry, this is non a sudden turn. This way will never
supplant my bodily "normal" fashion. It was simply an experiment to try new things. A sort of side project. However, if the general feedback
is okay, I'll make pictures similar this bachelor for committee :)
I have to say that I experimented this way on two other "test clients' who both where volunteers to try it. They're both very happy with
upshot and I'll upload their pictures soon in my scraps. This pic of Paul and the two others which will be uploaded afterward, volition be used in
my commission info. I'g very happy with the issue and information technology was a bang-up pleasure for me to create something new and fresh. I deeply hope
yous'll enjoy this new drawing of Paul too! :)
